“The Running Dead” is a zombie-themed 5K race being held in Salem, MA on September 29th starting at 6:30pm.
So you want to be a zombie… here’s your chance to not only menace, but to catch and ‘kill’ delicious victims. All runners will be wearing flag belts, like you see in flag football, which represents the runner’s life. You, the zombie, try to ‘kill/devour’ runners by grabbing flags off their belts. Once a runner looses all of their flags, they’re ‘dead’.

It’s free, but they’ll be collecting non-perishable goods for the local food bank (real food, not brains).
