Anime Party at the Black Ships Festival

The annual Black Ships Festival in Newport, RI is a celebration Japanese art and culture. The entire event runs July 15-18; on July 15 at 9:00pm there will be an Anime Party held dockside at Waites Wharf.

KatahdiCon is a gaming, science fiction, fantasy, and anime convention running the weekend of October 22-24 in Millinocket, ME. According to their website,

Otakuthon 2010

New York Anime Festival

Karaokon 2010

Karaokon is a one day anime/karaoke convention that will be storming the stage on May 8th in Boston, MA. The main event is a karaoke competition, but there will also be musical performers and vendors. Another Anime Convention

Preregistration is open for Another Anime Convention, which is, as you might guess, an anime convention; this year’s theme is “Gothic & Horror.” The convention will be held the weekend of October 15-17, 2010, in Nashua, NH. PortConMaine 2010

PortConMaine, “Maine’s biggest and longest running Anime & Gaming Convention,” returns June 24th-27th in South Portland, ME. Events on Thursday the 24th are available only to members who pre-register. Here’s a brief description from the website:
